The Caprice Clarinet Quartet at St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh

CincoSax Saxophone Quintet and the Caprice Clarinet Quartet are appearing at St Mary's Cathedral as part of the Edinburgh Festival on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th August respectively. Both concerts start at 1.10pm. Fee entry. CDs featuring both groups will be available for sale after each concert. For further information, click on the following link.

CincoSax Saxophone Quintet at Glasgow City Halls : Recital Room

This vibrant saxophone quintet are appearing in Glasgow following their debut at the Edinburgh Festival this year. These dates form part of CincoSax’s UK tour promoting their inclusion on the album ‘Waiting at the Crossroads’. 
Their programme contains an eclectic mix of music from Bach to Nestico, many of their arrangements being specially written for the group.This promises to be an exciting evening showing the versatility of the saxophone this young, dynamic group!

Glasgow City Halls : Recital Room

Neil Pennock – Clarinet, Peter Dodsworth Piano.
Caprice Clarinet Quartet – Neil Pennock, Ben Gould, Peter Dodsworth, Jamie Semark.
Neil has performed at some of the major recital venues and festivals in the UK and overseas and his work has taken to him as far afield as South America where he held the position of visiting Chamber Music Professor at the Conservatorio de Valparaiso in Chile. This recital is part of a UK tour to coincide with the release of Neil’s new album which features solo items and ensemble repertoire. Neil is delighted to be joined by the other members of the Caprice Clarinet Quartet for tonight’s performance.

Grovlez: Concertino for Clarinet and Piano
Finzi: Five Bagatelles
Grundmann: Caprice for Clarinet Quartet
Arr. Pennock: Get Happy for Clarinet Quartet
